Nuestro querido Alfredo Ruiz se jubila al final de este curso 2020-2021. Es decir, a partir del 30 de Septiembre se ha propuesto otras metas vitales y pone punto final a su larga y magnífica trayectoria docente e investigadora en la Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona. Por este motivo queremos celebrar con él un encuentro científico-festivo junto a sus ex-doctorandos y colegas más allegados que hemos bautizado Alfredo’s Fest.
La celebración consistirá en un retreat los días 21 y 22 de octubre de 2021 en el Parque Natural del Montseny, donde llevaremos a cabo actividades científicas y fraternales. Para aquellos que vivís lejos y no podáis atender presencialmente, sabed que retransmitiremos en directo por Teams la sesión para que podáis conectaros y participar virtualmente. Alfredo sospecha que tramamos algo, pero no sabe lo que estamos preparando. Es una sorpresa.
Esperamos veros en Octubre en esta celebración de homenaje a este gran hombre que ha sido tan importante para todos nosotros.

About the celebration
Our dear Alfredo Ruiz is retiring at the end of this 2020-2021 academic year. That is, as of September 30, he has proposed other vital goals and puts an end to his long and magnificent teaching and research career at the Autonomous University of Barcelona. For this reason we want to celebrate with him a scientific-festive meeting together with his former PhD students and closest colleagues:
Alfredo’s Fest.
The celebration will consist of a retreat on October 21 and 22, 2021 in the Montseny Natural Park, where we will carry out scientific and fraternal activities. For those of you who live far away and cannot attend in person, know that we will broadcast the session live via Teams so that you can connect and participate virtually. Alfredo suspects that we are up to something, but he does not know what we are preparing. It’s a surprise.
